| Q: How do I get there? |
| A: Cancun
International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the
Caribbean and is the point of entry to the Mayan Riviera. Major
International Airlines, as well as Charter Airlines, have daily
flights to Cancun making it easily accessible from major cities
in the world. |
| |
| Q: Should I rent a car? |
| A: Most
International Car Rental Companies have locations at the Cancun
Airport and throughout the Mayan Riviera. Reservations can be
made from your city of origin or at the Cancun Airport. As Yaxkin
is slightly off the beaten track, and there are so many interesting
attractions to visit, we suggest you rent a car. |

| Q: What is the weather like? |
| A:
The weather is warm and pleasant all year round as we are just
south of the tropic of Cancer. The average temperature is 80°F
(26°C). The coolest months are December, January & February
with an average of 74°F (23°C). The hottest months are
July and August when temperatures typically hover at 90°F
(32°c). Due to Yaxkin’s jungle location, temperatures
are usually 5 degrees cooler than values in the city. |

| Q: How close is the beach? |
A: One
of the most spectacular beaches in the Mayan Riviera, Xpu-Ha,
is only 5 minutes away from Yaxkin. This pristine white sand
beach, is protected by a magnificent reef which is ideal for
snorkeling. In addition, Xpu-ha has a beach restaurant and
also houses an outlet for Native crafts people.
